Learn how to feel like you belong to yourself and the world

Who would you be if you never felt like you needed to shapeshift to fit in?

Belonging isn’t about fitting in or being liked. It’s a felt experience of home in your body. It’s how we know, “I’m safe to be myself here.”

When you don’t have that embodied sense of belonging, it’s easy to feel anxious, disconnected, sometimes even invisible. It can feel like you need to prove yourself and your worthiness.

But you don’t need to do any of that.

You always belonged. You can reconnect to and strengthen that knowing now.

You belong because you were born into this body. Into this planet.

When you learn to feel that in your body and strengthen it every day, you open to authentic connection, you know your gifts and voice matters, and that you’re allowed to take up space.

In this workshop I’m going to share with you how to tap back into that belonging, no matter where you are or where you’ve been.

What you’ll learn in this somatic movement workshop:

  • Guided movement practices to help you release tension, masking and performing that keeps you from feeling belonging.

  • Learn how safety in your body can give you a sense of belonging to yourself. This is something you can carry with you anywhere you go.

  • How to feel at home in the world, even if you don’t feel held by a community right now.

  • Understand how belonging to yourself and knowing your values helps you build a solid foundation for creating resilient, beautiful communities.

  • Embodied tools you can return to any time you feel isolated, disconnected or alienated.

  • Time for Q&A and community sharing!

You’ll leave this workshop knowing how to access belonging in yourself, no matter where you are.

Meet your teacher

Jonathan Mead is a somatic movement guide and embodiment educator that’s helped over 3,000 students reconnect to safety and ease in their bodies. They will be leading this workshop to help you release tension, stuck emotions and old stories to come back to who you really are.
