Over the years working with hundreds of clients, I’ve learned that the foundation of physical freedom is developing trust with your body.

Most of us were taught to override, disassociate, shame and be afraid of our bodies.

So, it’s no wonder that your body doesn’t trust you.

You haven’t been a good partner to it… up until now.

I want to invite you into a six week container for rebuilding trust with your body

Each class there will be a combination of theory, practice and community connection.

The theory will help you develop a new mindset and more empowering view of your body.

The practice will help you ground in new experiences in an embodied way.

And the community connection will help you feel like you’re not alone in these struggles.

Class Summary

Each week we’ll dive into a specific theme to help you rebuild trust, freedom and confidence in your body. Classes will be a mix of somatic meditation, restorative movement, journal inquiry and time for sharing and Q&A.

I’ve been there too

For over eight years I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of amazing humans reclaim their freedom and trust in their bodies through embodied movement.

But I’m not just preaching from a place of theory without experience. For many years I’ve struggled with pain, injuries, crippling fatigue and a lack of trust in my own body.

That’s why I know first hand how important it is to learn to be kind to yourself and partner with your body.

When and where will the classes be held?

Weekly classes will be held on Sundays at 11am PST on Zoom. Classes will be about 2.5 hours, with a short break somewhere in the middle.

Is this appropriate for people with movement limitations?

Absolutely. That’s the reason why I created this series offering, to help folks with pain, tension and limitations in their body learn to work with these experiences, metabolize them and transform them.

Do you offer sliding scale?

I reserve a limited number of spots for sliding scale, preferancing BIPOC and LGBTQ folks. Please reach out to me at jonathan (at) embodiedmovement.co for support.

Will you be offering this again?

I’m not sure. Right now I know that this series will be offered live for the first time. But who knows what the future will hold!
