You don’t need more self control.
You need more self trust

Live virtual course: Aug 24 - Oct 12

Trust and peace is easy when we let our bodies lead

Over the last decade, working with over 3,000 students, teachers and therapists, I’ve learned that the capacity for ease, trust and joy starts with developing trust with your body.

Of course, most of us were taught the exact opposite. We learned to override, disassociate, shame and be afraid of our bodies.

So, it’s no wonder that you don’t trust your body or feel safe in it. And that lack of safety and nervous system overload has a cost. It can lead to feeling stuck in your life, or being chronically tired, anxious and stressed.

None of these things are meant to hang around and be your baseline experience. Our default is joy, pleasure and aliveness.

Disconnection from the body leads to these energies getting trapped and lodged in our system. That’s why somatic movement is so gentle and powerful. It gives you a safe passage for old emotions, stories and dysregulation to be felt, discharged and composted.

Who you are is not your stress or your anxiety.

If you’re ready to learn what it feels like to fully trust yourself and your body, I’d love to guide you to coming home to yourself.

Hi, I’m Jonathan Mead.

I want to invite you into an eight week journey of rebuilding trust with your body.

Each week you and I will meet with a small community of courageous humans for live sessions to help you understand your nervous system, trauma, healing and recovery. We’ll do embodied practices to rebuild safety and trust. And we’ll share in community connection.

With each lesson, you’ll build a new map of your experience and a more empowering view of your body.

The practices will help you release stuck emotions, detox from fear, stress and hyper vigilance. You’ll learn how to trust yourself again and let in more goodness from life.

The community connection will help you feel like you’re not and will offer inspiration and encouragement to keep going.

By the end of the eight weeks, you’ll discover that when you’re at home in yourself and your body, so much more joy, peace and ease is possible.

“I think the biggest change I’ve noticed is I’ve built trust with my body. I believe everyone deserves to feel good in their own skin.”

What you’ll learn each week on your journey home

Each week we’ll dive into a specific theme to help you rebuild trust, freedom and confidence in your body. Classes will be a mix of somatic meditation, restorative movement, journal inquiry and time for sharing and Q&A.

Safety and trust

We begin in week one by connecting to our nervous systems. You’ll learn how to self-regulate and build a foundation of safety and trust. This work supports your journey through the rest of the course.

Week one

Deep core strength

In week two, we move into our centers. You’ll explore how activating and strengthening your deep core helps you come back into safety, trust and confidence.

Week two

Calm the critic

With safety and core connection in place, in week three we begin softening the grip of the inner critic. You’ll make space for more curiosity, self love and being less hard on yourself.

Week three

Reparenting

Now we’re ready to go deeper. In the fourth week, you’ll learn how to reparent anxious, scared and vulnerable parts with reassurance and compassion so you’re no longer being driven by hyper-vigilance or outdated fears of not being enough.

Week four

Integration

Week five we take some vital space to pause to reflect and integrate: slowing down so your body can catch up, recalibrate, and root into your habits.

Week five

Reclaiming your no

Then we move into embodied boundaries in week six. You’ll learn to sense and express your “no” with honesty and care, an essential shift for anyone untangling chronic pain, fatigue, people-pleasing, or internalized pressure.

Week six

Allowing yourself to receive

In week seven with boundaries reconnected we enable our capacity to receive support, love, and belonging. Because healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it deepens when you let yourself be seen, supported, and held. This is the shift that transforms self-regulation into co-regulation, and makes your growth something you no longer have to carry alone.

Week seven

A lasting return

In the final week you’ll take everything you’ve learned and shape new routines, habits and vision that reflect who you’ve become, so coming home to your body is not just a return, but a lasting relationship.

Week eight

Six months of post-course care is built-in

Don’t you hate it when you do a course or program, experience some big openings and then… you kind of fizzle out?

I know how important integration is for long term success. That’s why you’ll receive six months of monthly calls, community care and a in-depth practice library after the course is over.

(so you’re not left hanging after the course ends)

Tugba

  • You want to feel better and know you need to listen to your body in order to get there

  • You want to heal in a way that is kind, compassionate and honors your needs

  • You’re ready to do the work, own your triggers and be less reactive

  • You want to feel more confidence and trust in yourself and are tired of second-guessing, gaslighting and not believing in your experience

  • You deal with chronic stress, anxiety or overwhelm

  • You struggle with chronic symptoms (pain, fatigue, gut issues, headaches, etc.)

  • You want to prioritize yourself and your wholeness, even when it’s challenging

  • You want to help create a more beautiful world and know that you healing will help you contribute from a stronger place

No experience in somatics, parts work or embodiment is necessary to join this course. However, this is a course for people that have tried lots of healing modalities, but haven’t found something that’s truly holistic.

Therapists, coaches and teachers will also benefit from this program to deepen their own education, practice and embodiment to better serve their clients and communities.

“I love Jonathan’s intentional unhurried and grounding teaching vibe. Very soothing to my nervous system and tendency to push/try to do too much at once.”

For over ten years I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of amazing humans reclaim their freedom and trust in their bodies through embodied movement.

But I’m not just preaching from a place of theory without experience. For many years I’ve struggled with pain, injuries, crippling fatigue and a lack of trust in my own body.

That’s why I know first hand how important it is to learn to be kind to yourself and partner with your body.

I’ve been there too, friend

Support for lifelong shifts

Somatic movement

This work helps you learn to feel grounded, regulated and safe in your body, giving you a foundation to feel, heal and release.

Community love

The power of community sharing and collective gathering to heal cannot be overstated. That’s why it’s an essential element to this course.

Protective reparenting

We all have protective parts that are trying to keep us safe, but often create other problems. We’ll learn how to disarm the critic, achiever and other protectors to experience more ease, lightness and freedom.

Deep core support

How you hold your body influences how you feel. Deep core reconnection restores strength, support and confidence in your body.

  • As someone that’s worked with lots of people with pain, disabilities and movement limitations, I strive to make accommodations and offer alternative approaches to every movement practice whenever possible.

  • Yes. All of the practices, lessons and invitations are offered through a trauma informed lens. However, it’s always up to you to be the steward of your own body and experience. If you need extra support during the course, I recommend working with a therapist or coach 1-on-1.

  • There are no refunds offered for this course. Please enroll responsibly.

  • Live classes will be every Sunday at 10am PT for 90 minutes on Zoom. You’ll be sent links to join the classes once you register.

  • I totally get that. As someone that’s experienced a lot of body dysphoria, chronic pain and fatigue, I know firsthand how tough it can be to be in our bodies. The practices I’ll offer will help you meet yourself in a new way, reestablishing safety and trust. Also, a lot can shift when you learn to just be in your body and feel without any story. So much of our suffering actually comes from our stories about what we’re feeling or experiencing. This course will help you learn to decouple feeling from storymaking.

  • So many of us do. We live in a very disembodied, disassociated world. The practices you’ll learn in this course will help you gently and progressively reconnect to feeling and being in your body. You may experience some discomfort in the process, but you’ll also open yourself to feeling more joy, intimacy, love, beauty and belonging when you learn to feel more.

  • While we are using somatic movement, parts work and mindfulness, the practices you’ll learn are not a replacement for individual therapy. However, many people that work with me doing therapy find that it greatly enhances and accelerates their individual healing work.
