Are you ready to move with freedom, strength and ease?
Here’s how we’ll make it happen together…
Your body wants to feel strong and capable… it just needs the right approach
Chances aren’t you weren’t taught how to take care of your body so it can heal, reconnect and be strong.
Most of us are not taught how to partner with and take of our bodies. Mostly we were taught the opposite, to tune them out and override them.
That’s why I’ve found that when most of us do “fitness” stuff, it’s usually our minds telling our bodies what to do. It’s more of the mind pushing the body around and judging it’s performance.
That might work for a while, but eventually your body starts to lose trust in you. Or you push too hard and your body has to give you lots of pain, fatigue and tension just to get your attention.
Wherever you’re at and whatever you experience is, maybe it’s time to learn a new approach to being strong, confident and at ease in your body.
My job isn’t to fix you, but to guide you, like a friendly companion to help you reunite you with your own inner wisdom.
Whether you’ve been dealing with nagging aches, pain and tension, you’re feeling a lack of energy and inspiration in your body, or you just know that your body is capable of feeling, expressing and moving with greater freedom, I believe that you can reclaim deep integrity and trust in your body.
The most important thing is that you are ready to listen to the messages in your tissues. That you’re willing to wave the white flag and surrender to your body’s messages. To finally decide that you’re going to be an ally and confidant to your body.
Over the last decade, I’ve developed a unique approach to help humans rebuild and restore their pain-free, flexible, strong bodies
I call it the R.I.S.E. framework. Here’s how it works.
Step 1: Resource
The first step in the journey to physical freedom is learning to establish safety and trust in your nervous system. This helps us get out of a chronic state of tension and guarding and into a more relaxed, open embodiment of ourselves.
Through specific practices of grounding, yielding, resourcing, and restoring natural breathing we create the ideal scenario for learning to occur.
This is a critical piece that most approaches overlook and without it, we can end up layering muscle and movement habits over excessive tension and guarding in the body.
Step 2: Isolate
By doing a detailed assessment, we identify key areas of the body that need to be woken up, reconnected and restored. We do this through body mapping, learning to activate and gain greater connection with our bodies.
This can show up in different areas for different people, but often we see the need for this rewiring in the deeper layers of the core such as the TVA (transverse abdominus), pelvic floor, articulation of the feet, spinal column, scapula and diaphragm.
Step 3: Synthesize
Through poor posture, disassociation, sedentism, injury, or trauma our natural “primal” patterns can become dysfunctional and cumbersome. However, through intentional practice we can help you reclaim this integrity and resiliency in the body so you can move better and feel better.
In this phase you will learn tools and concepts to applying your new movements into a nourishing, aligned lifestyle, so that the freedom you achieve can be sustained and continue to grow over time.
Step 4: Expand
The last phase in all about integration and expansion. Once we make a change, we need to witness and embody it. Until we are able to fully accept that we’ve made a change, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, we will inevitably revert back to old patterns.
By restoring our natural strength, capability and resiliency, we are ready to fully connect with life in the way that we desire. This part of the journey is about taking the structure you have learned so far and opening it up to more freedom and personal expression. Making the movements your own.
What makes my approach different
This isn’t about forcing your body into a certain shape, size or getting better at performing. You’ve already tried that and you know it doesn’t work.
Here’s how I do things differently:
I focus on you as a unique individual, that means our work is customized to what YOU need to heal.
I help you embody what you learn into the rest of your life, work, relationships, purpose, so it can truly transform your life.
We rebuild your foundations to restore your natural resiliency, not adding muscle or intensity to a shaky foundation.
We work holistically, meaning mind, body, and emotions are all included, and welcome to the party.
You learn how to build sustainable habits so you can move like a boss when you’re in your 90’s. Or beyond. ;)

Frequently Asked Questions
(And answers too! Because just the questions might not be too helpful)
Will this help with my pain/tension/injury?
Without speaking with you, I can’t say for certain whether this approach will help with whatever your challenge is. However, I will say that what I’ve seen is when you develop a body-led, nervous system-centered and primal/ancestrally based movement practice, generally really good things happen.
Is this work trauma-informed?
Yes, absolutely. Learning to go slow and resource safety in your body is a foundational component of the way I work with people. Through our work together, you’ll learn how to partner with your body, heal the ways you might have neglected it and rebuild trust. Body-consent is at the core of what I teach.
Do you work with women? What if I’m non-binary or trans?
Yes, absolutely. I work with people of all backgrounds. I am gender non-conforming and queer. I have a lot of experience working with women, non-binary and trans folks. While I don’t know your particular experience, I can help you hold space for whatever ways gender, race, age, or disabilities impact your experience in your body.
Do you work with people virtually/online? How does that work?
Yes, absolutely. I have 5 years of using video analysis to assess your movement patterns with over 200 clients. We will meet on Zoom to guide you through the proper engagement of your body to restore its inherent integrity.
What if I’m really inflexible or uncoordinated?
Great news, you have a lot of easy gains to make once you understand how to properly engage your body. By developing a consistent movement practice you can absolutely move and feel better.
Why do you coach clients on the inner work (mindset)?
You can do all the “right” movements for your body but still stay stuck. You can follow the perfect program and achieve a lot, but still feel like crap about your body. The inner work affects how you show up in your body, in your life, and will dramatically transform the experience you have. It leads to greater ease, acceptance and freedom in your body. Not to mention unlocking your dormant power when you finally not only see yourself as enough but celebrate the unique, badass qualities that only you possess.
That’s what makes my approach different. We work on your body, mind, and heart all in one cohesive program. I believe it’s the secret to my success with clients, even when they’ve tried “everything.”
